I still have my receiving blanket that my Mimi sewed for me in 1993. Mine is white pima batiste with hand embroidered flowers along the edges. Mimi also made my children’s blankets which has inspired me to offer them in our shop. They are so perfect for photos and make a beautiful heirloom to be treasured and cherished for generations to come.
Our custom receiving blankets are made in imperial batiste, French lace and hand embroidery work made custom to your precious baby. Note that, Pima batiste is available upon request.
Tear 1 hand embroidery includes just the baby’s name or monogram, Tear 2 includes the baby’s name or monogram plus a design. Tear 3 includes baby’s name or monogram, and a larger more intricate design with fine details on the blanket!
