With Admiration: Emma Patin- Petite Paper Co.

One of my favorite parts of owning and operating Libby Priere has been connecting with other small business owners. What a gift it has been to know Emma, founder of Petite Paper Co. I cannot remember exactly when or how our paths crossed, but I have loved being in her corner of the internet and cheering her on.

The Lord makes no mistake in whom He places in our path. Emma’s love for hand-cut heirlooms has inspired me, and I have loved following her newest adventure: restoring an older building that will soon become her beautiful storefront!

Her style, her mission, and the heart behind her work are exactly why I wanted to share her story through “With Admiration.” I started this series to celebrate fellow small business owners—their passions, talents, and the gifts they share with others.

Alongside being a business owner, Emma is a mother to two children, a wife, a friend, and a community leader. She creates beautiful hand-cut silhouettes, lovingly described as “modern heirlooms for modern moms.”

Emma started Petite Paper Co. in 2023 from a love of crafting, heirlooms, and thoughtful details. Since then, she has hand-cut more than 600 silhouettes for families across the United States—each one preserving a little piece of childhood.

“I love how silhouettes are classic and allow parents to freeze a special time in their child’s life.” — Emma

What a beautiful gift to give a family: a moment they can hold onto long after their little one has grown. I am so happy to share Emma and Petite Paper Co. with you.

Born and raised in a small town in South Louisiana, Emma still calls it home alongside her family, who inspire her creativity and designs.

Her newest chapter is especially exciting: restoring a storefront on Main Street in her hometown of Franklin, Louisiana. The store has been owned by the same family for 139 years - what a history!

Emma is working to preserve its original beauty while bringing fresh life to a place with so many stories of its own. I cannot wait to see it become part of hers.

As a longtime admirer of Petite Paper Co., it feels so special to now have Emma’s work hanging on my own walls. I absolutely love how our silhouettes turned out, though choosing a style was the hardest part! From playful, colorful patterns to classic black and white, scalloped designs, and custom art collaborations, there are so many beautiful ways to make these keepsakes your own.

There is something especially meaningful about one mother’s thoughtful work preserving the little details another mother never wants to forget.

I am a huge fan of Petite Paper Co. and beyond thrilled to have Emma’s work hanging on my walls. I absolutely love how my silhouettes turned out and had the hardest time deciding which style as she offers many. She has fun colorful patterns, classic black and white, scalloped designs, and custom art collaborations. Truly something for everyone!

Emma offers so many beautiful styles, each thoughtfully designed to become a treasured heirloom in your home. I chose the scalloped ovals in blue and pink—a little playful, yet still classic and timeless. I love seeing my children’s sweet profiles captured in something I will treasure long after these little years have passed.

I would love to share more of Emma’s work, see below for the link to her Etsy shop, where her designs are listed. Emma recently added a silhouette framed with lace, which I think is stunning.
